Although USB 2.0 should be fast enough, it is a pity Epson didn’t use the faster USB 3.0, which is also backward-compatible with USB 2.0. The previous V750 also had a FireWire port, but this is not included on the V850. The scanner itself is connected to a computer via a USB 2.0 connection.
